Hello all! Excellent episode last night, just excellent! Pierce lives! Interpersonal dynamics were the order of the evening! McGill melts down! Audrey steps up! Curtis is useful! And best of all, the names of Nina and Mason were invoked! All this and more will be discussed in our debriefs when I get a chance to post them. I am closing in on my target of getting site content current. I have completed screencaps and content for episodes 4x15 through to 4x20. I should have everything completely up to date before next week's episode, including all Season 5 AIG debrief transcripts.
In other site related news, I have re-opened the forum! I still haven't finished customizing the look and feel yet (that's coming up next) but it is open for you to start posting messages.
Another quick word on site-related issues: I would really appreciate it if our readers would stop using the CTU Logsheet guestbook as a chat forum to post messages every other day expressing their love for Tony, lust for Carlos or weekly episode commentary. The CTU Logsheet guestbook is intended as a place for our readers to give us feedback about THIS WEBSITE. If you have a comment about specific content on this site, your feelings about the site, or anything else related to the site staff's analysis of 24, please by all means post it in the guestbook, we love receiving your feedback. But if you simply feel like posting about how much you love Tony and want to have his babies or something, I'd really appreciate it if you kept those comments to the forum and leave the CTU Logsheet guestbook for its intended purpose. Now that The Open Channel Forum is back up and running, you have no reason to be posting these types of messages in the
guestbook. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

The results of this week's poll are in. Not surprisingly, AIG readers miss Michelle Dessler more than any other character sent to the Great Beyond. She receives more votes than all the other choices combined, with 51% of the total vote. Also not surprisingly, AIG readers miss David Palmer horribly as well, with 18% of the vote. The third most-missed dead character as selected by AIG readers was Nina Myers, with 12% of the vote. Yes, her absence is felt acutely over here. Honourable mention goes to George Mason, with 9% of the vote. Thanks to everyone who participated. Our new poll is posted, so don't forget to submit your choice. From now on, weekly polls will run from Saturday to Friday night instead of Friday to Thursday night, it's just more convenient for me that way.
In other news, I felt I owed it to all of my readers to let you all know what's going on with me, in case you were curious why it seems to be taking forever to get site content up to speed. Basically, as of April 1, like the great Nina Myers before me, I will be officially working for myself. I've made the decision that I want to make website development my career, so I will be going into business as a freelancer, doing websites, copywriting, editing, proofreading and communications consulting work. I am working on getting my online portfolio up and running for this purpose, and also trying to make extra money where I can by doing easy cash writing jobs, like Search Engine Optimized keyword articles. All of this is sucking up a lot of the spare time I would normally devote to AIG. So as I said, things have been hairy. I'm quite terrified, but also exhilerated. Working for myself is a huge step, but I think ultimately I will be happier in the long run. So, in conclusion, loyal
readers, if you have any contacts -- small business owners, online business owners, professionals in private practice (doctors, lawyers, chiropractors, accountants, realtors, etc), independent artists/musicians, etc -- who could make use of my services, please feel free to tell them about me and to contact me with their information. At this point, I am looking for all and any work I can get and I look to my loyal AIG readers and Tony fans for support.

Greetings, Tony fans! In spite of the glaring lack of Almeida in last night's episode, I have to say that it was probably the best episode of the fifth season since the premiere. It was great to see all the story threads interlacing and all the characters at the top of their game. Lynn McGill is becoming one of our favourite characters and definitely makes up for all the crappy s4 characters like Sarah Gavin. Eventually we will have our debriefs for Season 5 posted, but I am still working on catching up on content after the overhaul. Things in my professional life have been a little insane for the last while, but I am slowly but surely getting caught up. Screencaps and content for 4x14 are posted. I also have a new fanfic submitted by one of our readers to post over the next few days, and a couple of new fanlistings will be launching over the next two weeks. Stay tuned!

Happy Holy Eve to all. I've finished screencaps and content for episode 4x13. More screencaps and s4 content coming soon. That's about all to report for right now, looking forward to tomorrow's episode, hopefully we will get some desperately needed Tony. If not, we better get at least some Kim or some Kim-by-Tony's-bedside action. If we don't, I will be severely pissed.
In other news, there are a whole bunch of new wallpapers posted in the Gallery. Most of them were donated by Ivanhoe, but a couple of them are Kasia originals. Enjoy!

Hello all. I've been busy with other things this week and haven't been spending really any time on the site, so I haven't made any progress with regard to screencaps or content updates. I am very pissed off that we have still not seen Tony, I'm getting antsy and annoyed. I'm somewhat disappointed at the turn Season 5 has taken in the last few episodes, it's getting very repetitive. Didn't we watch Jack chase a terrorist from place to place to place, a new place every episode, all season last year? Yawwwwwwn. I really hope they throw a wrench into things soon, because they're starting to lose me. I had high hopes for this season based on how it kicked off, that it would be a good starting point for some real character growth and a return to the interpersonal depth of Seasons 1-3. But it seems that the deaths of Palmer and Michelle are all but forgotten at this point, and it's back to the same old, same old plot-heavy scattered writing from Season 4. Sigh.
The results of this week's poll are in. AIG readers overwhelmingly selected Chase Edmunds as the character from a previous season that they would most want to see return in Season 5, with 49% of all total votes. Your second choice was Mandy, with 19% of the votes and perennial AIG favourites Lynne Kresge and Milo Pressman were tied for third, each receiving 9% of the vote. The new poll is posted, so don't forget to submit your choice!
In other news, Carlos Bernard will be participating in the All-Star Celebrity Baseball Game for charity today, airing on ESPN at 4 o'clock, so catch it if you can.

Happy Holy Eve to all. I, for one, am thoroughly pumped about the possibility of some Kim action in tomorrow's episode. They teased me mercilessly by invoking the name of Kim and then not showing her. I want my Kim!!!!

As promised, I have the final results of our weekly poll. According to AIG readers, the greatest Tony Almeida moment of all time was .... [drumroll please] ... WHEN TONY SAVED JACK AND AUDREY AT FELSTED SECURITY, with 32% of the vote! The second-most amazing Almeida moment as chosen by AIG readers is the ever-compelling FLAMING HOT TONY MICHELLE ACTION, with 28% of the vote. Finishing in a very respectable third place with 11% of the vote was the incredible and insane moment that made us all (or at least me) jump up and scream "BEER IN THE CUBS MUG! BEER IN THE CUBS MUG! OH MY FUCKING ALMEIDA BEER IN THE CUBS MUG!!!!" An honorable mention, losing to Beer In The Cubs Mug by only the narrowest of margins, was of course the awesome moment when Tony busted out his Krav Maga hand-to-hand combat skills and kungfu-ed Mandy with his hands tied behind his back. This choice received 10% of the vote. AIG's readers have spoken! Our new poll is now posted, so don't forget to submit your choice!
In other news, screencaps for episodes 4x11 and 4x12 are now posted in the Gallery. There are also some 24 wallpapers available for download, thanks to the generous donation of art by Ivanhoe. Thanks, Ivanhoe. That is all for now, I'm bushed.

Quick note on site news and a few thoughts on last night's epi before I hit the sack. First of all, content for episodes 4x01-4x10 has been updated on the site and Tony screencaps for episodes 4x07-4x10 have also been posted in the Gallery. I am hoping that site content will be fully up to date and complete by the end of next week, but I can make no promises. I've been working like a madwoman as it is.
Onto last night's episode. It wasn't the most riveting or crucial episode of 24 ever to exist, but there were a few key points that were highlights. I think it's an unspoken rule that if you work at CTU, you have some crazy black sheep family member poised and ready to fuck with you or some really fucked up unpleasant family situation to deal with. First, Michelle's violent and suicidal brother Danny in Season 2. Then it was Chase's mysterious daughter that he managed to hide from his girlfriend for an entire month,
plus Adam's sister dying from the virus. Then of course, who could forget Erin Driscoll's whacked out schizo daughter in Season 4? Now we have Lynn McGill's unstable junkie sister thrown into the mix. I'm just waiting for Bill Buchanan's psycho ex-wife to start causing trouble. That being said, though, I definitely think there is more to this McGill thing than meets the eye. The man with his sister was well-dressed, clean and didn't look like a junkie, AND he made a point of taking Lynn's CTU access card. Methinks something fishy is afoot.
The story thread about the Russian sex slave really got to me. I've been doing a lot of reading over the past few months about feminist theory and the Rossler character just disgusted me and angered me to no end. I was so happy when Inessa shot him and killed him. Good for her! She doesn't give a FUCK about the agenda of government agents and she doesn't have any reason to trust Jack's assurances, no matter how soothing a tone of voice he used. All she knew was that she was never again going to give that animal another chance to brutalize her, and to me, that seemed very real and timely.
Anyway, must definitely get to bed now. This week's poll closes on Thursday at midnight, so if you haven't yet voted for your all-time favourite godlike Almeida moment, don't forget to submit your choice!!!!

Happy Holy Day! There is a new Carlos article posted in The Man Behind Almeida, just a quick little read. Interestingly, it mentioned that the writers toyed with the idea of killing both Tony and Michelle in the carbomb, but in the end decided not to because it would have "wasted potential." I could not agree more. I believe Michelle's death was a necessary evil in order to inject the most brutal struggle Tony has ever faced into the story. Given that we lost both Palmer and Michelle, I think killing Tony just for the shock value would have been a little excessive. Good on you, writers. I for one would have had to boycott my favourite show in the world had Almeida been axed gratuitously. It is just fucking wrong to even contemplate.
In other news, I've gotten the content for the first six episodes of Season 4 posted, which wasn't overly difficult as there were no Tony moments, quotes, etc to deal with for those epsiode. I have been working on screencapping Season 4, and have made some progress but have yet to run them through Photoshop, so keep your eyes open over the next few days for that. Screencaps for Season 3 Deleted Scenes have been posted in the Gallery.
I am working on getting our forum back up and running, so that should be re-launched within the week. Everyone enjoy the show tonight and we will be back with our usual features as soon as possible.

Holy shit. Yet another entire night spent slaving at the keyboard in pursuit of the ultimate Tony worship. I am proud to report that all Season 3 episode screencaps are now available in our Gallery. I haven't yet posted the Deleted Scenes caps, but they are coming soon. Also, all Season 3 AIG content is now up to date. I would feel like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders if I didn't have Season 4 content still staring me in the face. Anyway, Season 4 should be far less painful that Season 3 in terms of content transfer and screencapping, cuz let's face it Almeida's role was much reduced in s4, but I wanted to let you all know I'm making good progress and I look forward to the next episode.

I could not let last night's Pierce-y goodness slip by without a word. Sweet sweet Pierce. Further discussion on Pierce and more will be posted as soon as possible. I'm still working like crazy to get this site back up to speed. As much as I love Pierce (and Novick!), that does not change the fact that we really, desperately need some Almeida. Though at this point I have no idea what is going to happen with Tony's storyline. My previous theory about exacting severe revenge on the person responsible for Michelle's murder seems kind of a moot point now that Jack has taken Walt Cummings down already. Almeida's future remains a mystery.
What no longer remains a mystery, however, is the status of the rest of Season 3 Tony Screencaps. I have completed Episodes 3x20 and 3x21. Episode 3x21 contains 222 fucking screen captures. I have also captured all the pictures up to the end of Season 3, but have not yet had time to run the final 3 episodes or the deleted scenes through Photoshop, so those will be a couple more days. It took me 8 freakin hours to do all the captures and run Episode 3x21 through Photoshop. I hope you people appreciate what I do for your love of Tony! :p Don't say I never did anything for you.
