At long last, the Almeida Verbatim section is brimming with up-to-the-minute Tony quotes, including all the best lines so far from season 3.
In related news, our unique "Famous Last Words" page in the Mega-fandom section is also updated to include everyone that's been killed off this season, from defence attorney Douglas Shaye to druglord Hector Salazar (funnily enough, both killed by Ramon... what a great fucking villian).
Fact: An estimated 80% of dead 24 characters were killed by guns. Keep those firearms locked up, folks. And coming soon from this department: the AIG Official Jack Bauer Kill Count.

More good news. The best 24 fansite on the web (well, aside from this one, obviously), inside-24.com, has become an official affiliate of AIG.
I watched the 24 Inside webcast with Howard Gordon and Penny Johnson Jerald last night immediately following the broadcast of the show. The definite high point was HG's comments regarding the kiss between Jack and Nina, and the relationship between Jack and Nina. It is obvious after listening to his comments that everything Matt and I have ever believed in regarding Jack and Nina is right and idiot phillistine pseudo-fans who just don't understand the deep burning passion and the mated souls in spite of the rage and betrayal are clueless.
Other high points included PJJ discussing Sherry Palmer and where she hopes to see her character go from here.
The definite low point was the idiot bimbette airhead hostess who didn't seem to have a clue what she was talking about the whole time and acted like 24 was Beverly Hills 90210 or something. She didn't seem to understand the basic concept that in this show, there is nobody who doesn't have some shades of grey in them. There is no such thing as pure evil, because everybody is motivated by human desires. No matter how many times PJJ tried to explain this about Sherry, idiot bimbette hostess just said something else stupid and simplistic because PJJ's comments failed to sink in.
When HG was discussing various issues related to Jack/Nina, especially about how it is not the killing but the wanting to kill, it totally went over bimbette's head and she had no clue what HG was talking about. When bimbette said, in reference to Nina, "the woman is like a bad fart that just won't go away" HG just looked at her like she was the fucking stupidest person alive.
These webcasts are really cool because I love knowing what is going on in the heads of the people creating the show and knowing that all the time I've spent on critical analysis of this show has been well-spent, but if anyone out there reading this actually has some kind of say in these matters, try and get a host(ess) who knows what the hell he or she is talking about and who can appreciate the subtle finer points of this show, because the pink-clad idiot obviously does not.

The good news? Martin Sheen did not win the Golden Globe for best actor in a drama series. The bad news? Neither did Kiefer. The honour instead went to Anthony LaPaglia from Without A Trace, probably the longest shot to win. We figure that the Hollywood Foreign Press couldn't make up their minds between te 4 heavyweight contenders in this category, so instead decided to toss it up and give it to the underdog. Congratulations to Mr. LaPaglia and all, but Kiefer deserved it.
The great news however, is that after 3 years of waiting in the wings, being unfairly snubbed time and time again by various academies and awards committees, 24 finally got the recognition it deserved after winning the Golden Globe for Best Drama Series. The sadly ironic part is that year after year, broadcast after broadcast, I have faithfully watched, wearing my Nina t-shirt, waiting for the envelope to be opened and for 24's name to be read. And it never happens. This year, I didn't watch, because I couldn't bear another disappointment or another bout of futile rage after watching the West Wing walk away with another award it didn't deserve. The one year I don't watch, 24 wins. So maybe it is better karma NOT to watch. Anyway, if you would like to see the post acceptance interview (mostly Kiefer) behind the red curtain, click here. Reiko looks smokin'!!! Carlos probably does too, but the idiot cameraperson cut him out of the frame.
The best news of all is that HOLY DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!!!! After waiting for 2 weeks, Jack/Nina action finally continues.
We have a few new affiliates we are proud to partner up with in our worship of 24:
Devil's Advocate: The Official Nina Myers Fanlisting
Smouldering: The Official Tony Almeida Fanlisting
Tomorrow: The Official Tony/Michelle Fanlisting
Links are on the links & affiliates page.
Also working on launching a couple of sister sites. As soon as we get approval from relevant parties, news of them will be posted here.

For anyone who has been to the site in the few days it had been online with the white layout, I just felt it wasn't Tonyish enough. In a crazy burst of inspiration last night, I threw together this new layout, which definitely has a lot more of an Almeida-esque feel.
In further site news, the first installment of The 24 Season One Ultimate Fan Commentary has been posted and is available for download now. Thanks to Matt for compiling Famous Last Words and the last of the s2 quotes. He is currently working on s3 quotes, should be up by the end of the weekend, stay tuned!
Sadly I will not be able to participate in the 24 Live Webshow with PJJ and HG on Tuesday night, because the live show airs on the web before the actual show airs here in Edmonton, but Matt and Kat are gonna represent. However, with Sarah Clarke now not a participant, most of the thrill out of trying to get on the air has been deflated. to read information about the upcoming live 24 webshow on fox.com, click here.
In other news, this fansite needs to DIE!!!!! Whatever Kate and Jack did between seasons, we're just thankful we never had to witness it on screen. Dumping her ass was the best move he ever made! More Nina-Jack action!

We are FINALLY up and running. We had planned the site launch for about a month ago, but due to busyness and an underestimation of exactly how much work it would take to properly do Tony justice, we are behind schedule.
We would like to congratulate Katarina in the birth of her son, Gabriel Jonothon Kuhn, born Tuesday January 13th at 9:32 p.m. EST. This child is Truly Blessed, as he was born on Holy Day during the Holy Hour. In addition to having Gabe on Holy Day, she also has a set of 3 year old twins who are incidentally named Victor and Peter. We here at AIG have dubbed them the Villian Twins, as they share names with the big villians of S1 and S2. May Almeida be with this Holy Family.
In other news, George Bush continues to ruin everyone's lives by giving his state of the union address on Tuesday night, so unfortunately there will be no episode tomorrow. During Bush's State of the Where the Fuck is 24? speech, we will be rewatching Jack and Nina kiss over and over and over again on video.
Still working on screencaps. Screencaps will be updated as soon as possible. Still working on some way to distribute the Season 1 commentaries in their entirety without having to pay for additional hosting space, but not much luck so far. If anyone has hosting space they would like to donate, get in touch with us.
This site is still being tweaked and fine-tuned to add the enormous amount of content we have planned. This site will be updated often over the next several weeks, so stay tuned.
