Tony screencaps from the Deleted Scenes of the s2 DVD have been posted in the Gallery. There were only 3 deleted scenes with Tony, so there are only 12 caps, but still, it's good to encompass all aspects of Almeida's awesomeness.

New Carlos article posted in The Man Behind Almeida. This is a slightly out-dated Season 3 Q&A with Carlos Bernard, but I only recently discovered it on the web. The syntax editing is poor as fuck, but if you can get past all of the misplaced question marks, it's an interesting read. At the end, there are links to Q&As with other members of the cast as well. I've only read the Kiefer one thus far, and that was really good too.

Exciting news everybody! The demanding fans have spoken and the people behind 24 have clearly responded. The Official 24 Soundtrack will be released on Tuesday December 7, 2004, the same day as the North American release date for the season 3 DVD. All we know right now is that the soundtrack will feature original music from the musical genius composer of 24, Sean Callery, from all three seasons of the show. We are not yet sure if the soundtrack will include any tracks from other recording artists featured in the series. Track listing is not yet available. You'll get more info when we get more info. Here is some preliminary information from Varese Sarabande:
FINALLY! The much anticipated soundtrack for the enormously successful television series 24 is coming!!
SEASON ONE immediately became the most talked-about and acclaimed new series of the year!
SEASON TWO built on the first season, proved even more popular, and both seasons were among the best-selling DVDs of the year!
SEASON THREE debuts on DVD on December 7, the same day as this first ever soundtrack release of the series!
Music from ALL THREE SEASONS is included on this CD!
Jack Bauer, an agent of CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit), is having another one of his "very bad days." Such a simple idea, yet so fiendishly complex in execution. 24, as surely everyone knows by now, is a thriller that takes place over 24 hours, in 24 one-hour episodes. Everything takes place in real time.
The show is an enormous, award-winning success - including its Emmy Award-winning music!
Sean Callery's score is both powerful and brooding. Fans of the show have been calling for a soundtrack release since the first season. Finally, in time for the holidays, released along with the THIRD SEASON DVD and in advance of the much-anticipated premiere of SEASON FOUR this January, comes the blockbuster soundtrack from 24!!
Release Date: 12/07/04
In other news, I finally caught an episode of that show "Lost" that everybody's been talking about. I have to say, I really enjoyed it, especially after the revelation that our very own Agent Tom Baker (Daniel Dae Kim) is one of the stars. He plays Jin, a non-English speaking Korean plane crash survivor stranded on a desert island, unable to communicate with anyone but his wife. Cast Spotted Log has been updated as such.
We also have two new affiliates -- 24fans.com and Be Jack Bauer. 24fans.com has a lot of fun little extras including CTU ringtones for your cell phone! I might have to get a cell phone just to load it with the CTU ringtone. It also features some interesting fanfic. Be Jack Bauer is your premiere source for news on the 24 Video Game and Comic Book, as well as general 24 news and views.
I also found a really cool new way to express your obsessive fandom, courtesy of our new affiliate, Be Jack Bauer. If you're running Windows XP, you can turn your terminal login screen into a CTU login screen! Very cool! This requires StarDock LogonStudio to be downloaded and installed first. From there, you can download the CTU Login Screen and install that. You may also want the CTU seal icon for your XP userpic. Then you're good to go!

There is a new site on the Almeida Is God Fan Network. Visit Power Plays: The Official Tony Almeida/Ryan Chappelle Fanlisting today! The relationship between Tony and Chappelle was certainly an interesting one and definitely the most well developed relationship that Chappelle has with any other character. If you love the Tony/Ryan dynamic, don't forget to join!
In other news, I posted a photograph of Katarina to go with her new profile in About AIG, so you can all see what she looks like! Matt has promised me a photo of himself, but I'm still waiting on that one.

As you all can see, I have been a busy bee over the last couple of weeks. In addition to the obvious new layout, which I slaved over compulsively and managed to complete in record time, we also have a few new additions to the site.
The Open Channel Forum is back. When this site first launched in January of 2004, we started a forum, but because our site was not well-established enough and didn't have enough traffic, the forum was not used and I axed it. Now that our site has become more well-known in the community, we have decided to re-launch our own forum. There are many good 24 forums out there, but none of them are strictly focused on serious, passionate and insightful discussion of the meat of the show. This is what we are aiming at with our forum. We are aiming to create a forum without trolling, idiotic and immature posts or frivolous lame discussion. We would love it if our regular visitors joined this forum and shared our love of the show with us!
Tony screencaps for Season 2 have been completed in their entirety. I uploaded and posted the final episode of season 2 late last week, but because I've been devoting every spare moment to converting to the new layout, I neglected to post an update about that. These, as well as all AIG screencaps, are available in our Gallery.
Kat finally submitted her profile and story to me for our About AIG section, so now all AIG staff are accounted for!
Brothers In Arms: The Official Jack Bauer/Tony Almeida Fanlisting reached a milestone with 50 registered fans! We have also been approved to host the official fanlisting for the Tony Almeida/Ryan Chappelle relationship, which will be up soon. I need a bit of a breather before embarking on a new design project, but it will be up within 4 weeks.
That is all for now, but stay tuned for new developments here at AIG!

AIG was invited to join the Triple Ace Website Competition, so don't forget to vote for us if you haven't done so already! You can vote once a day Mon-Thurs.
Also, all AIG buttons have been revamped yet again. This is the last revamping of buttons session until the s3 DVD comes out and I make new buttons. Anyway, the point is to create more uniform buttons with even more intense Tony images, and I think I have done that. New visitors can use these buttons to link back to our site, and old visitors and affiliates can grab one of our new buttons for their links pages!

I have added a new video clip from a brief post-Emmy interview with Carlos and Dennis Haysbert. This is in The Man Behind Almeida. Thanks to 4924CTU for continuing to keep us aware of all the new Carlos videos. I am working on some new buttons for this site, so stay tuned for those.
In other news, Caliente! The Official Carlos Bernard Fanlisting now has 50 fans!

I feel so fucking vindicated right now. As the poorly researched and shoddily written entertainment news stories poured in over this spring and summer, and the naysayers wrung their hands and moaned, despite my disillusionment, I NEVER lost faith that Tony would be back for Season 4. As Matt said, "the idea of 24 without Almeida is just stupid." This latest news article, which I am reproducing for posterity in its entirety here, simply confirms that Tony was NEVER out of the picture. As I continually maintained, just because the contract had not YET been signed didn't mean it wasn't going to be. Thank Almeida for Almeida!
September 28, 2004 -- The last time viewers saw turncoat-agent Tony Almeida on "24," he was facing serious jail time for treason. His reasons for siding with terrorists against the U.S. may have been understandable - to save his kidnapped wife - but fans of the Fox suspense show ended the season with the reasonable assurance that Tony was gone.
Turns out now that he's not forgotten. Tony Almeida's coming back this season.
The word several months ago was that many of the program's most pivotal characters would not be returning for the new season, which debuts January 3.
"I was always told there were going to be changes, but that I was always going to be coming back," actor Carlos Bernard told The Post, as he prepares to start production on the fourth season of "24" next week. "We had discussions about how the Almeida character was going to be brought back. I wanted to do another season, if the character was put in a new place."
Prison was the most likely place, given his double dealing.
But this week Bernard is more focused on the story yet to be mined from Almeida's past.
"It's not so much about what you didn't find out about the character, it's more about the possibilities with the character," he said.
Bernard's mum on the fate of Almeida's wife, Michelle (Reiko Aylesworth), or even what episode he makes his entrance, saying that kind of advance information migth spoil things for viewers
"My first impression from the script was 'I love it,' " Bernard said. "You can see change in the character over the third and fourth season, which is always fun to play. You have to fill in the holes of what happened. The way they introduced the character was very cool, in a way I didn't necessarily expect."
The show's producers, aware of the huge popularity some of the show's characters had with viewers, do want to bring those actors back in some capacity for the new season, said Fox spokesperson Chris Alexander, who was quick to add that the program, eager to not repeat itself with key characters whose story lines had run their course, didn't "want to be handcuffed to use the same group of actors."
The show had added some celebs, firing some sparks of their own to the cast, including Oscar-nominated actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, "Third Watch" Kim Raver as Kiefer Sutherland's love interest, and veteran actor William Devane as secretary of defense.

I am all moved into my new place. The first night there, absolutely everything was in boxes and I had just come home around midnite after spending 5 hours cleaning my old apartment from top to bottom. I was absolutely exhausted. The only thing I had the energy to do was hook up the DVD player to the TV, find the box with my remotes in it, find the box with my 24 DVDs in it and fire up some s2. The reprise of s2 made me realize how much I miss Mason. Sighhhhhhhhh.
In other news, I have finally finished converting all of the AIG Fanlistings over to PHPFanBase. I am just loving it. I don't know why I didn't convert to PHP sooner. Fanlisting administration is about 5 zillion times easier. The Ryan Chappelle Fanlisting has also undergone some additional minor tweaks, as there have been complaints about the "garish" green colour. At first I totally disagreed with this, but after seeing it on a Mac, I have to say that perhaps the green was a little garish. The colour reproduction on the monitor on my work Toshiba laptop is not that great, so sometimes things appear more muted or darker than they appear normally on other monitors. Anyway, now Ryan has a new look.
That is all I have to report at present, but more soon...
