Heard through the grapevine that this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly (The Best of 2004) includes a DVD with the first 24 minutes of the s4 premiere. I haven't decided whether I will buy this or not, but I am leaning towards just waiting another week and a half until the premiere is shown on TV. After all, after 7 months, what's another 10 days? Thanks to Natalie at 24 Online for the heads up.

Happy Holidays to everyone from the staff of AIG!!!!! Nothing new with the site over the holiday break. I took my laptop to my mom's place hoping to find a bit of time to work on some more screencaps, but it just didn't happen, too much going on and lots of family fun. Anyway, I do have one cool little anecdote, I'm probably the last completely obsessed fan in the world to get a cell phone with CTU ringtone on it but at last the inevitable has happened. You know the one I mean, the boo-boo-dee-dooooooooooo internal CTU phone network ringtone. The reason why I didn't have the ringtone is because I didn't have a cell phone. But my mom got me a really cool flip-top one for Christmas that is totally 24-worthy. So after hours of fruitless searching on the web to download a ringtone for the brand new model of phone I have, I realized that the very ringtone I wanted was available on one of my service provider's affiliate networks. So now when someone calls me on the new phone, I can pretend I'm a
CTU agent. Digital wireless rules!
Sadly, there were no 24-related mobile wallpapers available for the background on the screen of my phone, but I am looking into it.
My heart is on the other side of the country with Matt right now, hoping for him that he received the box-set for Christmas and is currently binging on it after being deprived of his fix for almost three months. We have yet to discuss the DVD special features face to face (or text to text as it were), and I am eager to debrief with him.
I am nervous about the renewal of my ultra hosting services going through on time for Dec 31. I have yet to receive a renewal order confirmation,so if the site goes down over New Year's, DON'T PANIC! We WILL be back as soon as I have sorted everything out with my provider, and we will be back for the 2-day premiere.

Season 3 Tony Screencaps for 8-9PM (episode 8) have now been posted in the Gallery. I am now officially 1/3 finished s3 Tony caps. I've got some time off during the holidays, so I hope to finish s3 Tony screencaps by the New Year. But I make no promises.
We've also been approved to host fanlistings for Keith, Wayne and Adam, so stay tuned over the Christmas holidays for those as well.

3 more episodes of Season 3 Tony Screencaps are now available in our Gallery. 5PM-8PM have been posted. I have also finished capping 8-9PM, but haven't had a chance to format them for the web. This will be posted probably sometime on Sunday evening. It's my birthday today, and I have a hectic evening ahead of me, getting all dolled up to go to a fancy dinner party. Should have time to get back to Tony-worship tomorrow night.

I have obviously been living under a rock for the last two days, because I didn't even know until today that 24 was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series again this year. I wasn't actually expecting a nomination in this category since Season 4 hasn't even premiered yet. But whatever, I'll take it. We're up against some stiff competition in the form of "Lost", a show that I really like. In fact, "Lost" is probably the best show to hit the airwaves since 24 premiered in 2001. 24 will obviously always be far and away my number one choice for greatest TV show of all time, but Lost is a great show and if we can't win the award this year, I hope it does go to Lost.
Kiefer was snubbed in the Best Actor in a Drama Series category. If memory serves, this is the first year since he began playing Jack Bauer that he hasn't been nommed for a Golden Globe in this category. Nominating James Spader for Boston Legal really turns my stomach. I am not a fan of Boston Legal or Spader's character in it. I am rooting for Denis Leary in this category for his role as Tommy Gavin in "Rescue Me." I've been following that show with my boyfriend and it is also quite good. Leary really nails the character, so I hope he wins this one and NOT Spader.
The whole Supporting Actor/Actress category setup for the Golden Globes is rather unfortunate. They lump all comedies, dramas and mini-series into one category, so a lot of fine performances are overlooked for this reason -- including Dennis Haysbert, Carlos Bernard, James Badge Dale and Reiko Aylesworth (though I suppose Carlos and Reiko really did have more of leading roles in season 3).
Any which way, I will be rooting for 24 when they Golden Globes are presented on Jan 16.
In site news, I'm pretty busy this weekend, so I'm not sure if/when I will have time to do any more Tony s3 screencaps, but I'm gonna try to slide in at least a couple of episodes.
I've also learned that in addition to the 2 hour s4 premiere on Sunday, Jan 9, FOX has decided to expand the episode airing on Monday Jan 10 from 1 hour to 2 hours. So we will get the first four hours of s4 over 2 consecutive nights. Everybody update your calendars and schedules! This will make the season's run much shorter, but given that FOX has delayed the premiere for this long, I think it's a good move. We ALL need our fix!!!!! Thanks to Jennifer at 24 HQ for the heads up.

The first four episodes of Season 3 Tony Screencaps have been posted in our Gallery. This was really only 3 episodes, since Tony is only in the first 30 seconds of 4-5PM, but I'm 1/6 of the way through nonetheless. No one can ever accuse me of not loving Tony.
I'm more than half done watching all the features of the DVD. The complete review is still forthcoming. I've also applied to host some episode related fanlistings, and the Rick fanlisting is still on the way. Stay tuned for lots of updates, including more new screencaps, over the Christmas holiday.

I am very tired. I was at my boyfriend's house last night until 1 o'clock in the morning, then when I got home, I was FINALLY able to crack open my s3 DVD. I watched all of the deleted scenes, both Season 4 promos and the 24: On The Loose documentary, and didn't get to sleep until after 3 AM. Everything was thoroughly satisfying. I still have a lot of material to get through, including the commentaries, over the next while. Very excited.
Even in the deleted scenes, there is just too much to discuss here, so I have decided to work on providing a comprehensive review of the Season 3 DVD from a hardcore fan perspective. I will be working on that throughout my s3 DVD viewing experience. When the review is complete, it will, of course, be available on this site.
In other news, we have been approved to host fanlistings for Lynne and Rick, so look for those over the coming weeks.

OK, there is good news and there is bad news. The good news is that I got the DVD and it was only $60 CAD. It is sitting on the other side of my office tempting me as I eat my lunch. The bad news is that I went to 2 stores over lunch looking for the soundtrack and it has seemingly not yet hit the shelves. I'm wondering if perhaps the Canadian release date may not necessarily coincide with the US release date. That seems strange though, since release dates are almost always the same here and in the US.

At long last, the glorious day, the holy day, has arrived. The day of the s3 North American DVD release. I am about 20 minutes away from going to Future Shop on my lunch break to purchase this wonderous merchandise. It's going to be very difficult to focus on work for the afternoon with that DVD set sitting there tempting me, especially when I have a DVD drive in my laptop. However, I will be able to listen to the 24 soundtrack while I work, so that should keep me going until I can get home and crack open the s3 deleted scenes and commentaries.
Oh, 24, how I love thee!

There's a lot going on online right now with just over a month left until s4 premieres. It was only a matter of time until one of either A&E, Showcase or Bravo bought the Syndicated rights to "24", and it looks like A&E is the lucky winner. Read articles about A&E purchasing the rights to 24 here and here. Thanks to Natalie over at our affiliate, 24 Online, for the heads up.
Additionally, the full intro trailer for s4 has been posted and can be viewed in QuickTime format here. Includes actual dialogue, lots of Jack and a good view of the new characters. Thanks to our affiliate 24fans.com for the heads up.
I suppose I could wish you all a Happy Holy Eve, as the official North American s3 DVD release is TOMORROW. At long last, we finally get our fix -- NEW FOOTAGE!!! I can't express to you all how excited I am about watching the deleted scenes, commentaries and featurettes. I will be MIA tomorrow, holed up watching my sweet, sweet 24. New Tony! Of course, this also means that s3 Tony Screencaps will be forthcoming, as well as some Chappelle caps when I get around to it. Screencaps are the most time consuming aspect of this site, but now that we're running on PHP, I can update each episode at a time, and don't have to wait until the entire season is capped before posting, so that's all good. Also, as has already been mentioned, the 24 Soundtrack is also released tomorrow, so I will be spending my afternoon at work to the glorious strains of the genius that is Callery.
Cast Spotted Log has also been updated.
